Schemes Agent required on a long term contract bases for our clients flagship contract in the South. As a Schemes Agent, you will assist the Schemes Manager in delivering works across the contract, ensuring compliance with the Contract and Company Policies. You will report directly to the Schemes Manager, overseeing Footway & Drainage schemes, including section 106 schemes, and contribute to the contract's strategic growth.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
·Operational delivery of all schemes
·Manage the supply chain and annual plan.
·Ensure Health & Safety and Environmental Policies compliance.
·Foster a proactive health and safety culture.
·Deliver contract efficiencies and maintain quality standards.
·Ensure sufficient, competent staff resourcing.
·Develop and maintain client relationships and communication.
·Conduct regular internal meetings.
·Ensure contractors are informed of Environmental Policy and updates.
·Maintain high-quality standards and adherence to minimum standards.
 
Additional Responsibilities:
 
·Manage contract tender margin.
·Oversee delivery from ECI to scheme completion.
·Enforce company policies and procedures.
·Ensure contractual compliance and minimize defects.
·Maintain communications with clients and supply chain.
 
Essential Skills & Experience:
 
·Strong people management skills.
·Experience in delivering multiple work packages on time.
·Understanding of health, safety, and environmental requirements.
·Demonstrable highways experience.
·Financial and contract payment mechanism knowledge.
·Computer literacy (basic MS packages).
·Excellent attention to detail.
 
Qualifications Required:
 
·SMSTS
·CSCS Level 3.
·NRSWA - Supervisor.
·Temporary Works Supervisor.
·T7 Traffic Management 12 D.
