Are you a project manager with rolling stock experience?
Have you delivered projects from mobilisation through to delivery?
This is an excellent opportunity to work client side for HS2 in an exciting phase of the project. The contract award for the delivery of the 1st rolling stock fleet for HS2 is going to be awarded shortly. My client needs x2 PM to mobilise and deliver the contract from a client side perspective.
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £70,000 (negotiable for right candidate)
This role is for a hands on PM who can show excellent project management skills on a complex project. Excellent stakeholder engagement is a must as well as impeccable record keeping and attention to detail.
One of the positions will be working with th rail system integration and the second working on managing design and development.
Rolling Stock Projects includes the following contracts:
- Rolling Stock Manufacture and Supply Agreement (MSA)
- Rolling Stock Train Services Agreement (TSA)
- Network Rail Wider Network Works Project
The following Project Manager accountabilities are applicable to the Rolling Stock projects in this instance:
- To manage the client-side delivery of the named contracts.
- To manage the integrated team, including matrixed team members and any agency staff or consultants, providing day-to-day direction and co-ordinating to deliver project and/or contract requirements to the agreed schedule.
·Previous experience of deliverying rolling stock projects from mobilisation to delivery
·Experience of the entire project lifecycle including planning, procuring, developing and implementing similar project activities.
·Experience of working across functions and disciplines to deliver objectives
·Experience of leading and managing people directly and in a matrix environment.
·Qualification in project management, engineering, commercial management or the equivalent experience.
