Job description

Are you an experienced Regeneration Manager looking for a new challenge? Bristol City Council are looking for a regeneration manager to provide leadership in the development, promotion and successful implementation and delivery of Major Regeneration Projects .
 
This contract will last a minimum of 6 months and the rate is negotiable.
 
1.To ensure that the strategic service objectives and policies of the Temple Quarter Major Project(s) meets the diverse aspirations of all stakeholders, are communicated and implemented within the objectives of the approved project plans.
2.To ensure that Temple QuarterMajor Projects are developed and delivered in line with the City Council's core values and priorities, in particular strategic partnerships with public, private and voluntary sector, placing the customer relationship at the forefront of decision making, being open and responsive to suggestions on service improvements and continuous improvements in services.
3.To ensure that all designated projects are managed and implemented to satisfy the obligations and targets in accordance with the requirements of Funders, Council Action Plan and Local Performance Plan in accordance with Best Value.
4.Ensure that the strategic service objectives and policies for the Temple Quarter Major Project / Programme Team as agreed with the Service Director are planned and delivered effectively through:
·Integration with the overall objectives of both the City Council and Central Government including as measured by key national and local performance indicators.

·Planning to succeed through a thorough analysis of all relevant information concerning costs, benefits, impact and risks to the Programme and Projects.
·Translating into successful operational reality by having the right resources in the right place at the right time.
5.To plan, monitor and control revenue and capital budgets, in compliance with regulations, to meet the targets set by the Service Director.
6.To commission, develop and establish services so that the Project Plan is delivered.
7.To take the lead responsibility in accordance with the requirements of the Job Profile attached to this post.
8.To work dynamically across partner organisations as well as the Council as the Joint delivery Team is set up and becomes established.
