Closing date: 15th May 2025

Brentwood Borough and Rochford District Councils are seeking two Redevelopment and Regeneration Managers to help drive forward a series of medium-sized, community-focused regeneration schemes.
These roles offer a rare opportunity to take the lead on shaping local places - from feasibility through to delivery - working closely with members, internal teams, consultants, and the wider community.

What you'll be doing:
As a key part of the Assets & Investment Team, you'll manage the end-to-end development process of council-owned land and property projects, including:
·Leading feasibility studies, option appraisals, and business case development
·Co-ordinating site preparation, procurement, and stakeholder consultation
·Managing consultant and contractor performance to ensure on-time delivery
·Supporting acquisitions, disposals, and key planning considerations
·Reporting progress to Senior Managers and Members
·Advising on regeneration strategy and aligning with local priorities

To proceed, you'll need:
·UK Resident
·Minimum 3 years' experience leading regeneration/redevelopment projects within the public sector
·A relevant qualification - RICS or similar construction/regeneration-focused accreditation
·Strong working knowledge of feasibility, valuations, RIBA stages, and project delivery
·Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and engage local stakeholders effectively
Why join?
You'll be part of a committed and collaborative team with a clear mandate to make a visible difference in the Brentwood and Rochford communities. If you're motivated by place-shaping and delivering results that matter, we'd love to hear from you.
