Job description
Do you have a strong technical background in rail system integration?
Do you have strong project management skills and delivered system integration solutions?
Do you want to work client side on HS2?
Location: London or Birmingham
Salary: £56,940 to £71,160
This is a real unique opportunity to work client side on HS2 and solve bespoke system integration problems and ensure they are seen through to completion.
You will be looking at critical risk areas and have responsibility to manage across the programme, including monitoring design and resolving integration systems complexities.
You will be putting together small specialist teams and bringing in subject matter experts, to ensure
key decisions are made. This role is really about solving complex system integration problems from cradle to grave rather then just managing system integration processes.
You will need technical knowledge of system integration and a good grasp of software integration including SCADA, ETCS and Signalling systems. Any previous experience of feasibility studies within system integration/ engineering would be a real advantage.
The right candidate will of come from a technical role but then has the ability to manage projects as you will be working on really unique situations, solving feasibility issues and then delivering solutions to HS2.
