Job description

Do you have proven quality management experience on major infrastructure or heavy civils projects?

Are you experienced in assuring contractor quality performance?

Salary: £60,142 to £70,755
Closing date: Thursday 12th February
Location: London, 3 days in office per week

This is an immediate opportunity for a Quality Manager to join a central integration team supporting the delivery of a major national rail programme. This is a replacement role due to a leaver, creating an urgent requirement within a well-established team of nine.

Initially, the role will focus on civils works at the London end of the route, including tunnelling, bridges, viaducts and embankments. As the programme progresses, there is flexibility to move across other areas such as stations or rail systems.

This is a client-side position with no direct reports. Success in the role comes from assuring, challenging and influencing contractor organisations to deliver against agreed quality requirements.

Essential:

  • Strong quality management experience on major infrastructure, heavy civils, nuclear or aerospace projects
  • Excellent knowledge of ISO 0991
  • Background in project delivery environments rather than manufacturing or SPC-led quality
  • Experience working client-side, in assurance, or in an independent quality role
  • Educated to HND or degree level in an engineering or technical discipline
  • Lead Auditor qualified
  • Chartered Quality Professional status is highly desirable, or near completion

If you’re an experienced Quality Manager looking for a client-side role on a complex infrastructure programme, I’d love to hear from you!
