P6 Project Planner - Reading Contract:
12 Months, 50/50 Hybrid Working
£52 per hour (Inside IR35)
A great opportunity has arisen for as talented project planner join our client in the Reading area. The successful candidate will work on fast-paced projects for a well-known company who play a crucial role in the UK's defence and security.
Previous experience in the defence sector would be a big advantage for any application
Responsibilities
·Develop and maintain compliant IMS, incorporating supplier schedule data.
·Provide planning input throughout project lifecycle.
·Support Senior Planner with emergent projects.
·Maintain personal subject matter expertise.
·Uphold high standards in EHSQ and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
·Create Work Breakdown Structure, Resource Loading, Project IMS, and scheduling documents.
·Contribute to month-end processes: update progress, forecast, analyse critical path, and perform EV variance analysis.
·Provide planning input to Investment approval, Change Control, Risk and Opportunity processes, and Peer reviews.
·Produce Planning and EV deliverables following procedures.
·Propose solutions for schedule performance issues.
·Ensure compliance with company standards.
·Foster relationships with project members.
·Support Assistant Planner development.
