Job Title: Highways Project Manager
Salary: Up to £70,000
 
My client is looking for a highways project manager with tier-1 experience based in Oxford. This role has a salary of up to £70,000. As a Project Manager, you will play a vital role in managing and overseeing the successful execution of their projects. You will be responsible for driving the planning, managing project resources, ensuring compliance with company procedures, maintaining health, safety, and environmental standards, and achieving high-quality workmanship on site. Your excellent communication skills will be essential as you collaborate with the project management team, liaise with clients and designers, and effectively manage subcontractors. Additionally, you will attend progress meetings, compile monthly reports, introduce improvements and innovations, control contract costs, and actively promote the company.

Requirements:
- Demonstrable experience in a similar project management role with a main contractor
- Highways project manager experience
- Full driving license
 
Responsibilities:
- Manage all site staff effectively
- Drive project planning and ensure adherence to the schedule
- Oversee and control all project resources
- Take overall responsibility for project management
- Ensure compliance with company procedures
- Follow health, safety, environmental, and quality management procedures
- Maintain high standards of quality and workmanship on site
