Role: Project Engineer - Waste Water
Location: Derby, Birmingham, Coventry (Must be prepared to travel across the region)
Rate: £500 Daily (Umbrella Paye)

Duration: Initially 3 months with the potential to extend
About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer to join our dynamic Spills Team. This role involves the set up of temporary treatment units across the Severn Trent Water (STW) catchment area. The primary objective is to reduce the spills of effluent into rivers, ensuring the protection of our water systems. Each site presents unique challenges, requiring a skilled and adaptable professional.

Key Responsibilities:
·Set up and oversee temporary treatment units.
·Coordinate with the STW spill team to meet project objectives.
·Support build ability assessments and provide input to the design and commissioning phases.
·Manage project engineering tasks including the creation of ITP/ITFs, RAMS, and collaborative planning.
·Engage with suppliers and site teams to ensure timely delivery and installation of equipment.
·Supervise Tier 2 contractors on-site when necessary.
·Maintain project documentation and action trackers, ensuring alignment with project goals.
Qualifications & Experience Required:
·SSSTS (minimum), SMSTS (preferred).
·CSCS Card: Black preferred, Silver/Gold accepted.
·Relevant qualification in M&E at HNC level or above.
·Experience in temporary works and treatment set ups.
·Proficient in Microsoft Office, including MSP.
·Multi-disciplinary experience in Mechanical and Electrical fields.
·5+ years' experience with Tier 1 Waste Water Treatment.
·Strong knowledge of over-pumping processes (not de watering).
·Experience in build ability support and TQ processes.
·Ability to engage with design and commissioning teams, suppliers, and site teams effectively.
