Our client are a large infrastructure and facilities contractor, working across several industries including Power, Construction and Utilities. They work on several large contracts across the UK. As a market leader they offer opportunities to work on some excellent contracts and interesting projects.
 
They are based in Stevenage and have a lovely office on the commercial side of town. A lot of the operations are situated from this office but you will specifically be working on their Energy services project. As a project accountant, you will be working on the internal accounts of the energy services part of the business. One of the most successful divisions of the group. You will be looking at internal accounts and identifying margin saving and analysing data to see where money can be saved.
 
This is a 6 month project, with an opportunity for an extension. They are ideally looking for a part or fully qualified accountant.
 
The role is based on a 36.5 hour week, Monday to Friday. We are looking for someone who is proactive and can work well independently and in a team environment.
 
Your duties will be:
·To deliver projects within the finance team, focusing on cost reduction and margin improvements. Working on several Energy projects.
·Development of new processes to ensure the projects are more efficient and are built for scale.
·Other adhoc cost saving project work
