Procurement Manager
 
My client are looking for a Procurement Manager. You will be working in collaboration with the senior functional stakeholders, operational and commercial teams. My client are looking for the successful candidate to have a background in Utilities/Telecoms.
 
As part of the role, you will be:
 
·Develop the sourcing process and strategies for goods or services, utilising and participating in the production of, the Telecoms Division commercial purpose-built models, templates and in adherence to business policies and procedures.
·Work collaboratively with the senior functional stakeholders, operational and commercial teams to execute integrated category strategies through the development and delivery of a sourcing pipeline.
·Lead supplier negotiation of contracts to enable savings and benefits, in collaboration with all relevant stakeholders.
·Ensure work orders are properly formed and scoped with risks passed down the supply chain as appropriate.
·Establish a collaborative way of working with all relevant stakeholders that supports the successful transition of sourcing led execution to strategic supplier management.
·Provide supplier performance and commercial relationship management in collaboration with functional stakeholders.
·Provide regular procurement based reporting to senior leadership in support of company strategy and aims.
 
The following skills/experience are essential:
 
·Experience in procurement management specifically within the telecoms or utilities services sector (Essential)
·Knowledge and experience of working with standard forms of contracts and professional appointments, process, procedures and regulatory requirements.
·Line management experience.
·Educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant commercial or engineering discipline.
 
 
What you will get in return:
Salary - £55,000 - £65,000 plus company package including 25 days holiday (plus bank holiday) , pension plus additional company perks.
