Job description

Our client is currently seeking an experienced Transport Planner to join their team in Bristol as a Principal Transport Planner.
 
Opportunity:
This is an exciting opportunity and if successful, you will be involved in all aspects of project completion including the provision of transport assessments and travel plans, junction modelling, swept path analyses and AutoCAD design.
 
The role requires a thorough understanding of transport planning policy and will involve the promotion of development sites from site identification / acquisition, planning application submission, discharge of planning conditions and monitoring through the implementation various management and travel plans (with support where appropriate).
 
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have an interest in transport planning with a degree in a related subject (a Masters degree in transport would be desirable), and have experience in either the public or private sector. You will possess solid written and verbal communication skills with the ability to liaise with clients and other stakeholders.
