My client is looking to source an experienced Planning Policy Consultant to work at Principal Level.
 
My client would ideally like applicants to have extensive experience in progressing Local Plans, preferably in the London context.
 
The Role:
·Support the effective renewal and regeneration of the Council
·Planning policy and research tasks that enable the successful delivery of the Local Plan and associated Area Action Plans and Supplementary Planning Documents
·Ensure timely and meaningful engagement of other Council Divisions, elected members, statutory and non-statutory bodies, developers and public stakeholders in the above processes
·Management of discrete research and policy development / drafting and projects, including management of consultants
·Cross-Council working to deliver corporate objectives, including infrastructure funding and delivery
·The provision of specialist planning policy advice
·Deputise for the Planning Policy Manager
·Line management of one or more Planners or Senior Planners
 
Carrington West Pay Rate - £40-45 per hour
