My client in the Home Counties is seeking an experienced planning officer to join them in their DM Team, for an initial 3-month contract, with a view for a lengthy extension.
 
The council office is located fairly close to London with good transport links.
 
They are ideally seeking a contractor on a full-time basis for 37 hours per week, however they will consider part time hours. 
 
Site visits will be required so full driving licence and your own vehicle with business car insurance is desirable. This contract can be worked on a hybrid basis with some office work needed along with the site visits being completed, but this can be discussed on an individual basis.
 
·Looking for a Principal level Planning Officer dealing with a range of planning applications including small and large scale majors.     
·Ability to work independently and manage own caseload. Mentor less experienced members of the team.  
 
My client has provided me with the JD which can be sent out upon request.
