Principal Highway Drainage Engineer

Our client is looking for a Principal Engineer to join their team in Cardiff.
 
The ideal candidate will have a strong infrastructure background who can demonstrate experience in designing drainage and highways.
 
The role offers the opportunity to join an established highway and infrastructure team and work to develop drainage solutions for highway, infrastructure, and site development schemes. The role also involves the design of sustainable drainage systems (SuDS) and the use of AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
 
Requirements of the role:
·An understanding of drainage design principles including foul, surface water, lands drainage and SuDS.
·Proficient with Causeway Flow and/or Civil 3D
·Knowledge of Section 38 and 278, for highways
·Knowledge or Section 104 and 106, for drainage
·Meng or BEng in Civil Engineering
·Understanding of UK Building Regulations, Design Standards, Codes of Practice and Health & Safety regulations.
