We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Principal Engagement Consultant to join our clients growing office in Manchester
 
The position will support and lead on the delivery of consultation and stakeholder management services on behalf of our clients. This would involve an exciting portfolio of projects ranging from public realm schemes to traffic and parking projects for local authorities across the country.
 
As the successful Principal you will lead on delegating works to this growing team and also still be hands on with Client liaison and report writing.
 
You will be responsible for the planning and delivery of consultations; building strong relationships with clients and working with them to agree messaging and content, organising workshops and drop-in sessions, managing the consultation portal, and regular monitoring and reporting of surveys.  
 
The role requires a strong understanding of the requirements for consultation and engagement, good written skills, excellent time management and the ability to work collaboratively within a team, seeking technical input from other disciplines to create fully integrated solutions.
 
The ideal candidate:
 
·Experience in the design and delivery of public consultations and communications plans
·Ability to build effective working relationships with clients and colleagues
·Excellent verbal and written skills to produce clear and concise plans, surveys, web copy and promotional materials, translating technical detail into plain English
·Experience of data collection, analysis and report evaluation
·InDesign / Photoshop knowledge would be an advantage but not essential
