We are seeking a Pressure/CMOS Logging Technician for our South East Water contract to detect, locate and report both visible and hidden leaks on the household distribution network. The role will cover the Basingstoke, Kent and Sussex areas.  This is truly a great opportunity for an individual to develop their skills and experience with one of the UK's leading Environmental Consultancies.
 
The role
You will be working outside, using both traditional and electronic leak detection equipment to locate water main fittings & taking noise data samples using electronic leak detection equipment (for which full training will be provided).
Your duties will involve:
·Installation of Pressure Loggers on distribution mains
·Install flow loggers on customer properties
·Installation of Flow Meters on NHH
 
Who we're looking for
·You will enjoy working outdoors, as most of your work is conducted outside (rain or shine)
·A good standard of basic maths and English
·Basic IT skills
·Willing to work nights, weekends and overtime as required
·Have good hearing
·Good communication Skills
·Happy working alone and as part of a team
·Full UK driving licence
·Water sector knowledge
