The role: Plumber - Water Hyiene &Treatment
Location: Watford
Salary: £30,000 + - Depending on experiance
Duration: Permanent
Schedule: 40 Hours per week Monday to Friday + Opportunity for overtime

My client is expanding their operations in the north London and surrounding areas.  As a result they have a new vacancies in their site operations team for Water Hygiene & Treatment Technician's and they are expecting to continue growing in the future.
 
This is a great opportunity for somebody recently qualified as a plumber who is looking to make their first steps and bring their repair and maintenance skill set into the water treatment world.
 
You will also have the opportunity to continue your development by receiving full City & Guild certified in house training while you work.
 
Due to the projected growth in this role there will be opportunities to progress into a supervisory role overseeing junior Plumbers in the future. it is vital, to be considered, that you would be determined to move into a plumbing role in water treatment
 
In this role you will be provided with a company van for travel to site / work location within a 45 minute radius that is in the north London area.
 

Duties

• Disinfection and sampling of domestic & Commercial water systems to current standards
• Implementation of the ACOP L8 and HSG274 legionella control water monitoring
• Water sampling
• Cold water tank repairs/replacement works/Disinfection
• Servicing and replacement of water softeners and filters and any associated plant.
• Remedial plumbing works
• Accurate completion of Engineer report sheets and site logbooks
• Log book management
• TMV checks and servicing

It will be your job to develop new and existing relationships providing these services. You will spend a large part of your days driving and using your company provided tablet to receive your daily visits, input results data and signing off completed tasks for customers. You will have weekly and monthly meetings with the relevant management to ensure that the standard of service is up to the high standard expected.
 
The successful applicant must have
·an NVQ level 2 in Plumbing (or similar qualification)
·A full UK driving license
·Strong ability using various computer software
