My client in Essex is seeking an experienced planning Policy officer to join them for an initial 6-month period, but there is a possibility this might be extended.
 
This role sits within the Local Plan & New Communities team and is ideally for 37 hours per week.
 
The role contract can be home based with very occasional trips to the office, although it would be appreciated if the successful candidate could familiarise themselves with the district, including visiting it.
 
The council are getting ready for their Reg 18 Consultation, and you will need to be experienced in policy work - including annual monitoring review, what is required as part of the build up to Reg 18 and generic policy work.
 
The client is happy to see candidates on their individual rate requirements as the budget is not set in stone
