Planning Officer
Gloucestershire
£25-£35 p/h Umbrella
6-month initial contract
 
I am working closely with my LPA client based in Gloucestershire and assisting in their recruitment for an interim Planning Officer for at least 6 months.
 
Key aspects of the role include processing a range of planning applications mainly comprising of Householder and Minor application types including certificates of lawfulness.
 
It is important to have experience of the end to end Development Management process including the ability to undertake site visits in Cheltenham.
 
·37 hours a week (Part-time candidates will be considered)
·Junior level to more experienced planning officers will be considered so the pay rate will range from £25-£35 per hour depending on the capability of each candidate and the applications they can work on.
·Contract duration is 6 months with extensions beyond then
·Remote working position but with a requirement to be available for office meetings and site visits weekly (twice per week)
·Candidates who can pickup applications from the outset with minimal supervision will be preferred
·Experience using Uniform system is important
