This Local Planning Authority in the Midlands are looking for a Planning officer to join their Development management Team.
 
The role is full time role (37 hours) for a period of 6 month starting as soon as possible (although due to HR administration and IT set is likely to mean a start date will be approximately 3/4 weeks after any offer). The post would be inside IR35.
 
The role is within the Planners team and would be focussed principally on handling applications for minor development proposals, and would include prior approval applications, lawful development certificates (both existing and proposed) and listed building consents.
 
The Council operates using UNIFORM and the MS Office suite of software; as such, experience of these is important.
 
Staff are still working remotely however there is some capacity to work from the office . In addition there will be a need to do site visits within the District, on a weekly basis.
