I am working closely with my LPA client based in Suffolk and assisting in their recruitment for a temporary Planning Officer .
 
A vacant post has opened within the DM team at this authority and the council are looking for a reliable and experienced Planning Officer to pick up a case-load of householder and minor applications. There are a backlog of cases which will make up some of the case-load.
 
The hiring manager is ideally looking for the successful candidate to be in the office once per week, site visits can be completed on the same day.

It would be beneficial to have a relevant degree or equivalent qualification in town planning and be a member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI).
