I am working closely with my LPA client based in London and assisting in their recruitment for a temporary Planning Officer to join their busy Development Management Team.
 
A spike in the number of planning applications has seen this London Borough come to market for a DM Planner. They are happy to consider candidates of varying experience, from graduates with some experience, to experienced planning officers.
 
You must be comfortable carrying out site visits and writing reports for a range of applications, which will be tailored to your level and desired workload. This is a customer-focused role so you must be able to communicate clearly and liaise with a wide range of stakeholders.

It would be beneficial to have a relevant degree or equivalent qualification in town planning and be a member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) - although not mandatory.
