I am working closely with my LPA client in London and assisting in their recruitment for a temporary Planning Officer.
 
A departure within the team has opened up a position for a Development Management Planning Officer to join and ensure sufficient capacity across the department. Recent experience in the same role within a LPA is vital.
 
Caseload of predominantly small-scale residential applications, with some minors.
 
You must be comfortable carrying out site visits and writing reports. Site visits are likely to be required once every week, although you can attend the office and carry site visits out as often as you like / see fit.

It would be beneficial to have a relevant degree or equivalent qualification in town planning and be a member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI)
