Planning Ecologist - Local Authority
East Midlands
£40-45 per hour
Initial 3 Month Contract (likely to be 12 months+)

My client in the East Midlands is looking to source an experienced Ecologist who has worked in a Local Authority previously, commenting on planning applications.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a very busy and interesting local authority planning department.
My client is ideally looking for you to have at least 2 years' experience.
The Role
1.Advise Planning Management officers on planning applications by responding to planning consultation requests and supporting colleagues through advice on Biodiversity Net Gain.
2.Support the Biodiversity and Nature Recovery Lead Officer and Planning Policy team by providing input and advice into the delivery of the Local Nature Recovery Strategy through Biodiversity Net Gain.
Location Mainly WFH, but it's possible attendance the office will be required 1 day a week.
