Job description

My client a main contractor working within the Water and Utilities industry have an exciting opportunity for a Operations Support Coordinator.   You will be part of a proactive team who are responsible for providing on going support for the meter installations teams paying up to £23,000 per annum, starting on a contract basis.

The ideal candidate will gain exposure to all areas, including streetworks, planning & Scheduling and reinstatements.

It's a great opportunity for long term work where you will be supported with additional training where required.

Duties and responsibilities.

  • Maximise the productivity of the operations team by ensuring sufficient work is planned daily
  • Assign & dispatch work to relevant operational teams
  • Plan site surveys and/or customer warning card delivery activities, as required
  • Serve and manage permits for all metering work to progress from start to finish

Skills and Knowledge Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a office support
  • An understanding of NRSWA/TMA, planning and scheduling is desirable however training can be provided
  • Competent in MS Office packages.
