Job description
Location: Norwich, Norfolk
Project Duration: Long-term (until Summer 2028)
Working Hours: 40 hours per week
Rate: Competitive, with all expenses included
We are seeking a highly experienced NEC Supervisor to join a major highways project in Norwich. This long-term opportunity will run until Summer 2028, offering the chance to work on a significant and exciting infrastructure development. This position falls inside IR35 and working CIS is an option. This is day work, Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
·Supervise and manage the delivery of highways works in line with NEC contract terms, ensuring projects are completed to the highest standards.
·Oversee works relating to major highways, structures, and pavements.
·Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, project timelines, and budget requirements.
·Liaise with contractors, engineers, and project stakeholders to ensure smooth project progression.
·Report on progress, manage variations, and ensure any issues are addressed promptly.
Essential Requirements:
·Proven experience working with NEC contracts, ideally NEC 4.
·Strong background in major highways projects, with a focus on structures and pavements.
·Experience managing the day-to-day operations of large-scale construction projects.
·Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage on-site teams and collaborate with key stakeholders.
·Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly, ensuring the project stays on track.
