About the Role
Join a growing team as an Electrical/Mechanical Engineer and work across wastewater treatment projects in the South East. You'll be responsible for installation, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems, troubleshooting, and supporting both site-based and emergency repairs. This role provides great variety, hands-on work, and opportunities to develop both electrical and mechanical skills.
Responsibilities
·Installation & Commissioning: Lead installation and commissioning of wastewater assets (pumps, blowers, control panels).
·Maintenance & Support: Perform planned/reactive maintenance, fault diagnostics, and repairs.
·Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
·Reporting: Keep accurate records, report progress, and assist in continuous improvement.
Key Equipment
·Pumps, blowers, control panels, chemical dosing systems, and more.
Skills & Qualifications
·HNC/HND/Degree or NVQ in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
·Electrical: 18th Edition qualification.
·CSCS Card holder.
·Experience in the wastewater industry.
·Full UK driving licence.
·Desirable: Confined Space, National Water Hygiene, SSSTS, Emergency First Aid.
Working Hours
Monday - Friday: 40 hours per week (1-hour lunch)
24/7 on-call rota
