NEC Project Manager
 
Are you an experienced NEC Project Manager based in Manchester?
 
I am recruiting for an NEC Project Manager to join a client in Manchester an initial 12 month contract.
 
The NEC Project Manager will act as NEC Engineering and Construction Contract Supervisor for a highway scheme  that includes new and amended pavements, highway structures, earthworks, drainage, lighting and street furniture.
 
The post holder will have extensive experience of major highway site works in the role of Supervisor and experience of the above conditions of contract including risk management, quality, safety and contract administration in order to assist the scheme's Project Manager. The post may involve supervising other staff that form the Council's site supervision team and will involve liaison with Council officers, outside bodies and stakeholders. The Parkway widening scheme is a design and build contract.
 
The Ideal Candidate
 
·Diploma/NVQ/Degree Civil engineering
·Project Management eg APM PMQ or PPQ, Prince2 Practitioner
·NEC3 Professional Accreditation
·Memberships: Membership of ICE, IHE, CIHT, TPS (desirable)
·Membership of Association of Project Management or Project Management Institute
