Job Role: We are currently seeking an Mechanica biased Senior Project Engineer to join a leading M&E Contractor working on Manchester Airport. The project is the refurbishment of Terminal 2 at Manchester Airport and a new departure pier that will be ongoing for the next 2 years. As part of the role you will be responsible for the preconstruction checks, reviewing of drawings and ensuring all activities comply with regulations. You will join a mechanical team of 6 on the project which has a project value of over £50m.
There is an immediate start available for the right candidate.
 
Key Responsibilities:
·Actively participate in all pre-construction procedures to minimize company liabilities and risks.
·Reviewing of project drawings and re-engineering installations to meet customer requirements where required.
·Ensure all operational activities comply with internal procedures and external legislation.
·Stakeholder management of both client and subcontractors.
·Ability to lead to a team.
·Manage project completion within agreed quality, commercial plans, timescales, and cost constraints.
 
Requirements:
·Significant experience in large M&E projects preferably Aviation, Healthcare, Data Centers or Defence.
·Mechanically biased background and full right to work in the UK
·Previous Experience of leading project teams.
·Security Clearance or ability to obtain one.
