Job description

I am currently looking for a Managing Quantity Surveyor for an exciting permanent position in the Wiltshire area.
As Managing Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for overseeing and delivering all commercial aspects relating to highways maintenance, routine activities and street lighting.


Main responsibilities for the vacancy:

·Providing management support to a team of talented Quantity Surveyors ensuring workload is covered effectively and to ensure compliance and processes are being followed
·Acting as a focal point for all commercial activities within the region
·Undertake the role of commercial lead on a number of projects as necessary.
·Sub-contractor and client valuations
·Coaching and mentoring
·Assisting and providing commercial/contractual guidance during production of cost significant variations


Qualifications & Experience required:

·Degree Qualified in either Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.
·Previously led a team of Quantity Surveyors.
·Demonstrable highway maintenance and civil engineering experience preferably with a contracting organisation.
·Good knowledge of the NEC suite of contracts
·IT proficient, particularly in MS Office
