Our client are a large Infrastructure and Facilities contractor, working on several large projects across the UK. We are currently looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to look after the engineering side of a facility programme. Predominantly working in the Electrical side. This is a great opportunity for someone with Supervisory experience who could start ASAP. This role is initially a contract role as they need someone ASAP but they would be looking for it to turn to a permanent role.
 
The role is a Monday to Friday role, 40 hours a week (8am to 5pm). They offer a great package at full time employment. The role is based in Watford and is easily commutable from several locations.
 
The ideal candidate will have 5 years+ supervisory experience and be electrically qualified as an engineer. You will need to have experience or be aware of facilities management and be a good team communicator.
 
Responsibilities:
·Manage a small team of staff
·Check Health & Safety standards and deal with any issues inc. suggesting policy changes
·Take lead on any difficult site decisions
·Report any issues to management
·Plan routine and adhoc maintenance
·Identify new ways of working
·Work closely with other Supervisors and Managers
·Plan activities
·Manage sub contractors as well as direct staff
·PPM's
 
Requirements:
·Maintenance Experience
·Electrical experience and qualifications
·5 years + Supervisory experience
