Role: LV Design Engineer (Water Sector)

Are you an experienced Low-Voltage Design Engineer looking to progress your career in the water sector?
 
My client's team collaborates with major water utility companies in the UK, providing cutting-edge technology solutions to ensure the sustainability of the control of water treatment systems.
 
Reporting to the LV Operations Manager, your role will involve completing the production of electrical design drawings and calculations from clients' requirements, procuring materials, carrying out site surveys to investigate in-service LV assemblies, and mentoring other LV Design Engineers.
 
This is a permanent role and the working hours are 37.5 hours per week. The salary on offer is competitive and dependent on experience.
 
The ideal candidate will have:
·HNC/HND Electrical and Electronic Engineering (Or equivalent through experience).
·Experience as an LV Design Engineer.
·Technical knowledge of industrial power systems.
·Technical knowledge of industrial control and automation systems.
·Knowledge of BS EN 61439-2 Power Switchgear and Controlgear assemblies.
·Knowledge of BS EN 60947 Low-voltage Switchgear and Controlgear.
·Knowledge of BS 7671 IET Wiring Regulations.
