Job description

Are you a lead HV Engineering Manager?
Do you have experience working from 11kv to 33kv on large sale rail infrastructure projects?

Location: London (Hybrid)
Salary: £78,812 - £98,500

This is a fantastic opportunity to work directly for the client on the largest ongoing infrastructure project in Europe and the largest Non traction Power Project in England.

My client is looking for a HV specialist who has a strong background in 11kv to 33kv distribution. The client has undertaken the conceptual design and is imminently going to award the HV non traction power design and build contract for HS2. The design will go on for 2 years, with the work looking to start in 2026. This should lead to 5-10 years work for the right person. Ideally they are looking for someone who has delivered HV rail infrastructure projects, they will also consider candidates who have worked directly for the DNO's. This work will be route wide and also include the design of over 100 substations.

Due to the nature of the role, only candidates who have whole life cycle experience can be considered for this project.

Requirements:
- Large scale Rail infrastructure or DNO experience
- Whole project life cycle experience
- HV Experience
- Design Background in 11kv to 33kv

Desirable:
- Rail Experience
- Design and build contract experience
