We have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Civil 3D Designer to join a market leading consultancy on a long term contract basis. The ideal candidate would be a well-rounded civil technician, technically competent across all core Civil Engineering disciplines, with exemplary communication skills, and who has experience leading teams and delivering projects. This role would support projects in multiple sectors including transportation, energy, and defence.
 
This is a hybrid working opportunity, and our clients' offices are based in either London or Surrey. This position falls INSIDE IR35.
 
Essential skills & requirements:
 
·Fully competent in AutoCAD & Civils 3D
·Experience implementing and administrating common data environments such as ProjectWise / BIM360
·Detailed Knowledge of External Works, Utilities & Highways modelling
·Leading Teams
·Excellent communication skills
·Willingness to adopt new technology / techniques
·Knowledge of BIM.
 
Preferred skills & requirements:
 
·Experience interfacing with Revit modelling
·Prior experience of producing BIM Execution Plans
·Awareness / previous experience of ESRI ArcGIS
·Navisworks capability
 
Additional requirements:
 
·Willingness to be security vetted
·UK based British National
