Carrington West are pleased to be working with an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Town Planner to join a well-established and growing private planning consultancy based in Cardiff. The company has offices across the UK and works on a diverse portfolio of projects including residential, commercial, mixed-use, and strategic land developments.
This role offers the chance to work within a collaborative and supportive team while gaining exposure to a wide variety of planning projects.
The Role
As a Town Planner, you will support the delivery of planning projects and provide professional planning advice to clients.
Key responsibilities will include:
·Assisting with the preparation and submission of planning applications and appeals
·Conducting planning research and policy reviews
·Preparing planning reports and supporting documents
·Liaising with local authorities, clients, and other stakeholders
·Supporting senior planners on a range of projects
About You
We are keen to hear from candidates who have:
·Experience within a private planning consultancy or relevant planning environment
·A degree or postgraduate qualification in Town Planning or a related discipline
·MRTPI status or working towards chartership
·Strong written and verbal communication skills
·A proactive and collaborative approach to work
