Landscape Consultant

Carrington West are assisting their client in their search for a Landscape Consultant on a permanent basis.
 
You will need:
·Prior experience in a similar role, ideally within commercial consultancy.
·Degree / master's in landscape architecture or ecology or related subject.
·Be member of the Landscape Institute (LI) or Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM).
·Experience of design of habitat restoration/creation schemes to maximise BNG on projects and strategies.
·Have experience and understanding of: Phase 1 habitat survey habitat types and terminology; UKHab habitat types and terminology.
·Experience of undertaking BNG assessments using BM2.0 BM3.0 and BM3.1 is highly desirable, but strong core skills and a willingness to learn will be considered.
·Have knowledge of relevant policy and legislation and differing approaches to BNG assessment.
·Be technical proficient in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite particularly Photoshop and InDesign with the ability to competently produce plans, sections and construction details.
·Hold a full driving licence with the ability to travel and work flexibly on occasions.
