Salary: £26,900 - £31,600 + 15% Flex fund
Location: Birmingham (Minimum 3 days per week in the office)
Start date: February 2026
Role Summary:
I'm seeking two enthusiastic and detail-oriented Land Assembly Assistants to work on the largest rail infrastructure project in the UK. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone keen to develop a career in a specialist field.
You will play a crucial role in the process of securing land access for the project, ensuring all activities are compliant and accurately documented.
About You:
·A degree in a relevant field such as Geography, GIS, Geomatics, or Spatial Data is highly desirable.
·A proactive and driven individual with a strong willingness to learn.
·No prior land referencing experience is required as training will be provided.
·Excellent attention to detail is critical.
·A team player with strong communication and time management skills
·An aptitude for understanding spatial data and maps.
Key Responsibilities:
·Assure the accuracy of land referencing data provided by suppliers.
·Support and facilitate Final Land Acquisition Boundary (FLAB) sessions, including recording of key action points.
·Produce and check formal notices required for land access, using a bespoke in-house workflow system.
·Use the G-Viewer spatial system to review and analyse land data.
·Engage with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure processes are followed correctly.
·Conduct desktop research, including checking Land Registry documents.
