Junior CAD Technician

As a Junior CAD Technician, you will play a key role in supporting engineers and senior technicians across a range of development and infrastructure projects. You will gain practical experience using CAD software while working closely with a tight-knit engineering team.
In this Junior CAD Technician role you will be doing the following:
·Producing and assisting with technical drawings using AutoCAD or similar drafting software
·Supporting engineers and senior technicians with design and project documentation
·Working collaboratively with colleagues across the development engineering team
·Assisting with multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high attention to detail
·Updating drawings and technical information as projects develop
·Communicating effectively with colleagues to ensure project requirements are met
 
To be successful in this Junior CAD Technician role, you will ideally have:
·A T-Level in Civil Engineering or a similar engineering-related qualification
·Awareness or basic experience using AutoCAD or similar CAD software
·A strong attention to detail and ability to work across multiple tasks
·Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
·A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop technical skills
·Any relevant work experience would be beneficial but is not essential
Salary is dependent on experience.

Career Development, Location and Working Pattern
This role is based in Walkden, Greater Manchester, working full-time hours of 37.5 hours per week (9:00am - 5:30pm).
You will be joining a team that actively supports career development, offering opportunities to expand your technical knowledge, gain industry experience and progress your career within development engineering.
