Join Our Team as a Traffic Signals Engineer in South Wales!
 
Are you a skilled and motivated individual with a passion for maintaining traffic signals and ITS roadside equipment? We are excited to announce a fantastic opportunity to become a part of our dynamic Traffic Signals Engineering Services team based in South Wales.
 
Position: Traffic Signals Engineer
Location: South Wales (primarily based in Cardiff and surrounding areas)
Working Hours: 4on - 4off, Days Only, Cyclic Shift Pattern (06:30-18:00)
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
Perform proactive and reactive maintenance of traffic signals and associated ITS roadside equipment.
Configure, test, commission, and carry out additional works on traffic signal and ITS equipment such as Automatic Rising Bollards and Variable Message Signs.
Collaborate with clients to effectively manage contracts and service levels while maintaining strong working practices.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a strong health and safety focus.
Contribute to a positive team environment by being a reliable and proactive team player.
Drive the successful execution of tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrate excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
Perform tasks at heights and during nighttime when necessary.
Execute the 4on - 4off shift pattern to ensure consistent coverage.
 
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience within an Electrical/Electronics background (desirable).
NVQ/ONC in Electrical/Electronics and a customer service background (preferred).
18th Edition certification (desirable).
Familiarity with ISO9001 standards.
Full driving license and ability to drive long distances due to the range of works and contract areas.
Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.
