Job Opportunity: ICA Contract Engineer
Location: Oswestry
Salary: Up to £50,000 p/a plus package
A leading contractor working on high-profile United Utilities projects is seeking an experienced ICA Contract Engineer based at Oswestry WTW, with hybrid working options available. The Role:
Reporting directly to the Lead ICA Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in coordinating plant design and procurement strategies. You'll ensure projects are constructed, commissioned, and delivered on time while keeping costs in check and maintaining strong client relationships. Your work will contribute to the smooth running of critical infrastructure projects for United Utilities.
Key Responsibilities:
·Ensure project costs stay within budget and payment applications are submitted promptly.
·Build and maintain excellent relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
·Assist with contract management and produce reports on project progress.
·Contribute to innovative design solutions and risk management strategies.
·Oversee the preparation and completion of contract documentation, including O&M manuals.
·Stay current on industry changes and ensure continuous professional development.
What You'll Need:
·Engineering/technical qualification (HNC minimum).
·Experience with water and wastewater treatment processes.
·Working knowledge of NEC contracts, CDM, and health & safety.
·Strong background in contract and supply chain management.
