Role: Hydrographic / Land Surveyor
Location: Southampton
Salary: £22,000-35,000 + benefits please note in order to achieve the top end of the salary range hydrographic survey experience essential.
Employment: Full time permanent
 
 
Do you want to work for a growing high precision survey company who delivers projects both in the UK and overseas ?
 
You will be based from an office location on the North side of Southampton which offers on site parking and is located between Salisbury, Andover, Winchester and Southampton. Its easily commutable from any of these locations.
 
This vacancy is available due to organic growth of the company and an increase in work load due to continued project wins.  As a result there is a vacancy for a Hydrographic / Land Surveyor to join the business.
You will be required to work from the office and away from home to deliver projects which typically take 2-4 days to complete including travel outside of the UK to countries such as Germany, France, Netherlands and Denmark. Surveyors will typically work on a rota system were they will work 2 week on 2 weeks off for travel ( please note this may change dependant on projects ).
 
 
In order to be successful in this position you MUST HAVE:
 
- Full UK drivers license
- Previous land survey experience ( high precision work ) or Hydrographic survey experience
- Please note this role would suit a land surveyor looking to be trained on Hydrographic surveying or vice versa
 
 
Role responsibilities:
·You will be involved in delivering high precision hydrographic surveys which are typically with in 5MM accuracy which are typically attached to ports, docks and shipping channels
·Delivering topographic surveys
·Processing survey data
 

On offer is a salary of £22,000-£35,000 depending on experience, in addition to this you will also receive time in leu and travel allowances for working abroad.
