Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor that is currently looking for a new challenge?
 
An opportunity has arisen for a Highways QS to join a client in Northamptonshire.
 
This is a full-time contract offered on an on-going basis, initially for 3 months. Remote working arrangements are available.
 
 
Key Accountabilities:
·To assist the Highway Service Manager to manage the Council's NEC4 Term Services Contract.
·Looking at contract issues including reviewing and issuing task orders under pricing options A, C or E, assessing Star Rates and managing Early Warnings and Compensation Events.
·Experience would be in a Highways Maintenance environment, but a QS background/experience would also be desirable.
·Some line management of other staff in the team will be required.
 
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
·Degree or equivalent level qualification in Quantity Surveying or related construction subject
·Preferably qualified or working to an CICES or RICS accreditation
·Relevant CSCS Card
·Good knowledge of the NEC suite of contracts
