An opportunity has arisen for a Programmer/Planner with experience in Highways and Public Realm to join a client in London. You will be a key part of the team involved in a large highway infrastructure project and your main duties include scheduling and programming a range of highway and public realm schemes, checking programmes supplied by the contractor, managing the risk register and providing progress reports on costs and timescales.
This is a full-time contract position. The rate on offer is £350 - £400 per day - negotiable for the right candidate. Flexible working arrangements / working from home opportunities are available.
Working within the Highways team your main duties include:
·Scheduling, planning and programming highway construction and public realm improvement schemes
·Checking the design and build contractor programmes and schedules
·Managing the risk register
·Monitoring the contractor's progress and proving progress reports on costs and timescales
