Highways Operative
 
Are you an experienced Highways Operative looking for a new challenge?
 
We are looking for a Highways Operative to join clients team in Ivybridge.
 
Key Responsibilities: Work as part of a team undertaking Highways repairs, ranging from Patching, Resurfacing, Potholes, Drainage, Footways and General Highway Maintenance. Use technology (tablets/apps) to input safety data and maintenance records. Drive/operate plant and equipment where trained, necessary for the for the day to day tasks set. Take responsibility for vehicles/plant/materials in your charge. Where appropriate provide direction/supervision of the work to less experienced operatives.
 
Essential Skills: Clean driving License A commitment to Health and Safety Good communication skills and basic literacy and numeracy Ability to undertake a high level of manual work and work outdoors in all weathers. CSCS Card
Desirable Skills: Highways experience LGV licence New Roads and Street Works (NRSWA) Operative Accreditation Lantra 12d.
