Highway Design Engineer
 
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Highway Design Engineer to join their team in Bedford.  As a Highway Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the planning, design, and execution of highway and transportation projects.
 
The consultancy has extensive experience in the design of highway schemes and the associated technical approval processes, including Section 278 and Section Agreements. Expertise ranges from designing minor accesses to complex junction arrangements and link roads.  
 
Requirements of the role:
·Experience working in highway design
·A working knowledge of the DMRB and current relevant design standards and codes
·Proficiency in industry-standard design software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, and Civil 3D.
·Detail-oriented mindset and commitment to producing accurate and high-quality design deliverables.
