Highways Administrator
We are looking for a full time Highways Administrator to assist a client in the Manchester area in the Highway Maintenance Team.
 
The main responsibilities of the experienced Highway Administrator are:

• Maintenance and improvement of local data management systems.
• Ad-hoc duties as requested by the team.
• Assisting the team with technical duties where required.
• Provide general administrative support to the team.

The requirements:

• Good general IT skills are essential, ideally the successful applicant will be proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
• Ability to deliver accurate and concise information to a range of stakeholders.
• Ability to effectively plan their workload, to maintain a methodical approach, and be consistent and conscientious at all times.
• Ability to identify solutions for potential process inefficiencies.
• Previous experience within a relevant sector.

The right person:

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate the following qualities and attributes:

• Previous administration experience within an engineering environment.
• Ability to work both as part of a team and on own initiative.
• Enthusiastic, self-motived, and able to work with focus.
• Organised, efficient, and able to produce work to a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to react positively to change and is confident to challenge in an appropriate and effective manner.
