Job description

Are you a Geotechnical engineer who wants to be involved with Network Rail and HS2?

Are you looking to work for a proper engineering consultancy who delivers 1st class design engineering?

My client is overwhelmed with work on both landmark HS2 and Network Rail projects. They have multiple positions for Engineers all the way up to Principal engineer. Post covid they are continuing with flexible working and only will have staff back 2 days per week.

Locations: Greater Manchester, Bristol and North Hampshire

Salaries:
Senior Engineers with 3years to pre-chartered - £30k - £45k
Principal Engineers Chartered - £45k - £65k

Still looking for contract work? Great my client is happy to take contract staff for these positions and will pay the equivalent salary rate of permanent staff for the same position.

Job Role:
My client is looking for Geotechnical Design Engineers to undertake detailed design and numerical modelling. They are Civil Engineering consultants, as opposed to a Ground Investigation company.

So they are looking for Civil Engineers who do geotechnical design: pile design, settlement, slope stability, soil nailing, rock engineering, shallow and deep footings are all must have skills.

Requirements:
·Degree educated in relevant field
·Minimum of +3 years experience working in a design house
·Geotechnical design experience on rail infrastructure projects
