Role: Gang Supervisor - Water Sector
Duration: Temporary - Turning Permanent
Hourly Rate: £20 p/h
Location: Whole of East Anglia

Are you looking for a job that involves travel and overseeing important projects in the water sector?
 
My client has an exciting opportunity to join a large water sector contractor in East Anglia overseeing a small gang. You will be responsible for carrying out work on the Anglian Water framework, supervising tasks including mains laying, meter replacements, reactive install and maintenance of complex and large diameter burst mains and more.
The successful applicant will be expected to oversee the project management of the schemes assigned to them, from design through to completion. You'll be visiting site to ensure the expected Health and Safety standards are adhered to as well as working closely with engineers in order to effectively plan and manage the resources for the design and delivery of the particular scheme.
This role is for somebody who has experience leading a gang in the utilities sector previously and is happy to spend a fair bit of time driving to site as this role covers a large area (Company Van provided or Mileage Paid).
 
To be considered, you MUST have the following cards/qualifications to be considered
·EUSR clean Water Card
·SMSTS or equivalent
·NRSWA Supervisor
·Cat & Genny certification
The ideal candidate will also have to have the following attributes
·Formal CDM Training
·Hold experience of working in accordance with the Traffic Management Act
· A full UK driving License
·-Experience leading a gang in a Water/Utility sector environment.
