My client are a large Utilities contractor with expertise across all aspects of Utilities and Highways projects. They have a strong presence in the Water and Telecoms sectors and have an excellent reputation for offering secure long term, career opportunities, with a clear career pathway and national operations.
 
The position is working in Yorkshire on a large FTTP project, you will be working in a small adaptive team, who assess the clients design plans and survey the route to ensure there are no hidden issues and to suggest changes that maybe useful in the civil installation of the ducting and fibre. You will be surveying OH & UG telecoms route, identifying issues and providing solutions, giving updates to the office, ensuring A55's are correctly recorded and abiding by company H&S policy.

They are ideally looking for the following:
 
·FTTP Surveyor experience
·Full UK Driving License
·PIS/ Smart Card qualifications - S11, S13, A8/SA001, A9/SA002 - ideally
·NRSWA
·Ability to walk the streets to survey
·Excellent communication skills
·Ability to read maps and use tablet based software
